HR Strategy’s client is a company specializing in Real Estate (Overseas). They are looking for a highly qualified Vietnamese and Expat candidate for the Contracts & Commercial Manager position

  • Working Location: Ha Noi
  • Report to: Senior General Manager/General Manager


Commercial Management

  • Business development: seeking out and developing new opportunities
  • Commercial Negotiations: leading contract negotiations with current and new partners
  • Account management: the focal point of contact for the network of contractors and funding partners
  • Risk assessment
  • Responsible for the financial management of projects
  • Overseeing financial KPIs
  • Management/mentoring/training of other Quantity Surveyors

Pre-Contract Stage

  • Establish project preliminary construction budget
  • Evaluate new tenderers, recommend of potential tenderer for the works
  • Review and develop the tender process
  • Review cost plan, coordinate with other Consultants to achieve a cost-effective design
  • Coordinate preparation of the tender document, review tender document
  • Coordinate tender process, includes calling tender, participate in a tender interview, and finalize award of contract.

Post-Contract Stage

  • Preparation of financial statement
  • Contract management: tracking progress, and reporting to senior management
  • Updating with contractors, includes monthly updates on progress, contract status, forecasts, and dealing with any account management matters


  • Reporting: building forecasting models, monitoring spends, and producing management reports
  • Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by Management


  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying/Building or related field
  • Minimum of 3 – 5 years working in the Building industry
  • Knowledge of commercial, contract administration, pricing strategy, cost control
  • Be able to build up and strengthen wide networking with authorities in various departments and working levels
  • Able to identify new commercial opportunities through creative thinking and business acumen
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
  • Excellent command of English


  • Salary: For Vietnamese ($2000 – $3000); For Expat (Open). It depends on the candidate’s interview
